IN+ researchers among the most influential scientists in the world 15/10/2025

Stanford University has released the 2025 list of the World's Top 2% Most Influential Scientists, which includes three IN+ researchers.

António Luís Moreira and Ana Moita appear for the first time on this list representing the World's Top 2% Most Influential Scientists. Paulo Ferrão was selected once again on the career-long impact list.

Updated every year, the ‘World’s Top 2% Scientists List’ is compiled by researchers at Stanford University, in collaboration with the publisher Elsevier and the citation database Scopus. This list identifies the most influential scientists in various fields of knowledge based on citation metrics, using a standardized approach to rank researchers. The list features the names of the 200,000 most cited scientists worldwide, representing the top 2%.
