Olga Savchuk, researcher at IN+, is one of the finalists of the Altice Innovation Award. The initiative is applicable to Portugal, France and Israel, and aims to award projects from finalist students (Master’s or PhD) and startups in the incubation phase who present innovative projects in technological areas relevant to Altice International’s core business, namely: Telecom, Media & Content and Data & Advertising. Six startup finalists and three academia finalists await for the final result, which will be revealed on October 10th in Lisbon.
Olga Savchuk is conducting her doctoral research in Sustainable Energy Systems at IN+, under the MIT Portugal Program. Her research is supervised by Carlos Santos Silva and is focused on employing the machine learning algorithms in electric grids to address the challenges of energy transition.
