Science and Technology Summit in Portugal 2022 will take place from May 16 to 18 16/05/2022

The Science and Technology Summit in Portugal 2022 will take place on 16th, 17th and 18th May, in a hybrid format. This is the biggest annual event in the area of science and technology in Portugal and brings together the national R&D institutions – FCT R&D Institutions, Collaborative Laboratories, Associate Laboratories and State Laboratories.

On the 2nd day (May 17) at 15:30, Paulo Ferrão and Sónia Cunha will participate in the thematic sessions with the talk "The effects of economic crisis in the material consumption of European countries". Also on May 17, at 17:30, Paulo Ferrão will moderate the plenary session 4: “Cities – Green, sustainable and inclusive cities”.

The guest country for this edition is Egypt, which will also actively participate in the program.

Attendance is free but registration is required.
