You will be working as part of the ‘Industrial Ecology and Sustainability Laboratory', a group that is seeking highly motivated candidates who wish to pursue research in modeling the design and implementation of energy communities, contributing to the reinforcement of the laboratory competencies.

You’ll integrate AIDEN - AI DRIVEN ENERGY COMMUNITIES, a project inserted on the PRR funded Agenda NGS – New Generation Storage, which aims to study the role of storage in transitioning energy systems. With this main objective in mind, we expect your active contribution to the research and demonstration activities of the project, contributing to model the design and implementation of energy communities, considering different technologies and interaction models (CSC, P2P) and services to be provided to the grid, such as flexibility, energy storage or active demand response. In this context, the research activities to be carried out by the candidate will consist of:
We offer the integration into a dynamic and enthusiastic team for the development of research activities under an unspecified fixed-term employment contract up to 12 months, possibly renewable following the best international practices.
We expect you to start from November 2023 and your work will be developed at our facilities at IST Alameda under the scientific supervision of Dra. Diana Neves.
