Nádia Costa is a PhD student in Engineering and Management at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa. She holds a BSc and MSc in Industrial Management and Engineering also at Instituto Superior Técnico. In her master thesis, Nádia performed an empirical study regarding the main factors that affect the survival of service firms, while comparing knowledge-intensive and less knowledge-intensive service firms.
At IN+, Center for Innovation, Technology & Policy Research, she is a researcher for the Laboratory of Technology Management and Policy, conducting research on aggregated employment and unemployment duration related to technological change.
