Miguel Amaral holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) at the Technical University of Lisbon. Miguel also holds an MSc in Engineering Policy and Technology Management, an advanced training diploma in Communications Science and a degree in Economics. Presently works as Assistant Professor at the Engineering and Management Department from IST and as a Research Associate at the Center for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research, IN+/IST. His research interests and teaching focus mainly on Technological Change and Entrepreneurial Dynamics
