Mariana Franco

Mariana Franco has a Bachelor's degree and Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. During her thesis, she researched about second-generation biofuels and their applicability, and studied their production in a laboratory scale.
She joined IN+, Center for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research, in 2025, where she is currently working within the M-ECO2 PRR project. In this project, she is performing simulations on separation processes, and researching the production methods and economic viability of diverse e-fuels.
