Maria João Rodrigues
Maria was granted, by Instituto Superior Técnico, Technical University of Lisbon, a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Major in Applied Thermodynamics; a M.Sc. in Engineering Policy and Management of Technology; and a PhD in Engineering and Industrial Management (partially conducted at the Department of Engineering and Public Policy of Carnegie Mellon University (PA, USA)).
Her post-graduate studies were mainly focused in the architectural integration of photovoltaic materials in urban areas. Maria holds a diversified carreer in renewable energies and energy efficiency with collaborations with Agência de Inovação, IrRadiare, De Viris and WIN ENERGY. She was founding partner of wee-solutions; and president of APISOLAR, the Portuguese Solar Industry Association. Presently she collaborates with ADENE, heading the Innovation and Public Policy Unit, and is founding partner and manager of Green Egg, Sustainability Solutions.
