Phd candidate with more than 25 years working experience in the oil and gas industry mainly in Angola, Golf of Mexico and Bass Straight Australia. Started as a junior engineer supporting oil and gas projects developing projects and production and ended up as a board member of a National Oil Company.
Right now is a student of the PhD program at IST, Sustainable Systems of Energy, developing research on the use of the Carbon Solid from the Methane Decomposition (Pyrolysis) as a clinker (cement) replacement substance. Already has, from IST, a pre-Bologna Master Degree in Hydraulic Resources in 1999 and Civil Engineering Degree (5 years degree) in 1996.
