Helena Rosário da Costa is a candidate for the Ph.D. Program in Engineering and Public Policy at Instituto Superior Técnico. Helena holds a Sociology Degree (NOVA University) and has a Master’s in Economics of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Algarve University). She received Algarve University’s 2018 Merit Award. As well, she received NOVA University’s 2017 Award of Merit and Excellence and she also received the 2015 NOVA Young Talents Award. Currently, she is a researcher at IN+ Center for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research, Instituto Superior Técnico, Portugal. At IN+ her research interests range from artificial intelligence, innovation, entrepreneurship, and public policy.
