Florentin Eckl is a research assistant and PhD candidate in Sustainable Energy Systems at IN+ Center for Innovation, Policy and Technology Research. He has a bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energies and a master’s degree in Energy Engineering from the University of Stuttgart. During his studies, he specialized in the field of energy systems analysis and finally, his master thesis about green hydrogen production and distribution led him to his current research area. At IN+ he is researching on the valorisation of the by-product oxygen in green hydrogen production. The main goal is mapping potential oxygen consumers in Portugal and modelling an efficient distribution network.
