Cycle of debates: Que Piramide Humana 01/02/2018

The Centre for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research (IN+), in collaboration with the Instituto de Prospectiva and Imprensa Nacional - INCM, organized a cycle of debates on the book “Que Pirâmide Humana?”, by Manuel Heitor.

This book looks at how thinking about knowledge in Portugal has been appropriated socially and politically. The analysis is developed based on many of the reflections that have been tested, developed and implemented over the last few decades, especially since European integration in 1986, focusing on the period 2000-2021 and including a prospective analysis for 2030.

The cycle of debates takes place between October 2 and November 27, 2024, in various cities of the country.

  • Matosinhos, at CEiiA, October 2, 2024;

  • Barcelos, at IPCA, October 4, 2024;

  • Bragança, at CACGM, October 11, 2024;

  • Vila Real, at UTAD, October 30, 2024;

  • Évora, at CEiiA, November 7, 2024;
  • Coimbra, at FEUC, November 12, 2024;
  • Lisboa, at Pavilhão do Conhecimento Ciência Viva, November 18, 2024, along with a screening of Jean Rouch's “The Human Pyramid”, 1961;
  • Porto, at INESC TEC/FEUP, November 27, 2024.
