Master Thesis Awarded 15/11/2018

In Portugal, World Materials Day was celebrated last 7 of November in an event organized by SPM – Portugal Materials Society. Every year, they award the Best Master Thesis in Materials Engineering.

"Characterization and Physical-Chemical Processes of Recovery of Rare-Earths in Residues", a thesis by the student Joana Rita Meireles Fonseca from IST and supervised by Prof. Fernanda Margarido, coordinator of the Waste Processing and Management Laboratory of IN+, was distinguished with the 2nd Honorable Mention SPM.
