On 24th February 2021, FCT announced the provisional results of the Call for the Attribution of Associate Laboratory (AL) Statute. LARSyS received the maximum classification and was recommended with 1M € annual funding. The Associate Laboratory of Robotics and Engineering Systems (LARSyS) is an Associate Laboratory that reunites IN+, ISR, ITI and Maretec.
This Call established the allocation of complementary financing for the specific activities of LA of € 23,843,000 per year, starting in 2021 and for a period of 5 years, in addition to the financing of € 53,469,000 per year already granted to the Units Research areas that are part of the LA.
