The INNCYBER INNOVATION HUB launched the 2nd Call for Projects as part of the 2nd edition of the INNCYBER Innovation Award for the category of Doctorates, Doctoral Students and Researchers. Applications are open until June 30, 2021 and projects can be submitted until September 7, 2021.
Participation requirements are: having a PhD/Doctorate degree; being a researcher at a University, Institute or Research Center; or be enrolled in the current academic year (2020/2021) in a PhD program. Entries can be individual or in groups and research work already completed or in preparation may be submitted.
The INNCYBER Innovation HUB will identify and reward the best academic project in terms of innovation and entrepreneurship in strategic areas of cybersecurity, digital transformation and IoT, namely:
i) 5G and IoT;
ii) Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning;
iii) Cloud Security;
iv) Security-by-Design;
v) New strategies to fight social engineering attacks;
vi) Ethics & Human Element of Cybersecurity;
vii) Cyber Hygiene and RGPD;
viii) Microeconomics applied to cybersecurity;.
The total prize, worth €7,500, includes a cash prize of €3,500 and the equivalent of €4,000 in mentoring hours in areas such as business modeling and business development.
