Engenho e Obra, the movie, will be broadcast on RTP2 15/12/2023

On December 21 and 22, at 4:25 am, the film "Engenho e Obra" will be shown in two parts at RTP2. This documentary accompanies the exhibition of the same name - Engenho e Obra, coordinated by IN+ - and aims to portray the journey of the engineering, but also of the teaching and the profession of engineering in the 20th century. The film combines images from different eras, testimonies from various engineers who talk about their field of work, but also from sociologists, historians and professionals from areas that work in close contact with engineering.

Directed in 2003, this documentary won the Dibner Award da Society for the History of Technology, as well as the UNIVERSIDADES Œ03 Prize by TELEciência 2003 - V International Film Festival of Scientific Dissemination.
