During the Taguspark Campus Open Day, IN+ researcher Rui Costa Neto conducted Electrolysis workshops, demonstrating in practice the process of producing hydrogen by electrolysis. "It was an excellent day spent with people who were very interested in learning more about this process of producing hydrogen, with excellent questions and good technical discussions", said Rui Costa Neto.
In these workshops, participants had the chance make their own electrolysis cell to produce hydrogen, using an adapted 5V cell phone charger, with soup spoons, a glass beaker and caustic soda.
The Taguspark Open Day celebrated the campus' 23rd anniversary, with activities in various areas of Science and Technology open to children and adults.
