Researchers and practitioners in the field of entrepreneurial university and regional development are invited to submit a chapter proposal to a forthcoming book publication entitled Examining the Role of Entrepreneurial Universities in Regional Development. This book will be published by IGI Global (formerly Idea Group Inc.) and edited by Miguel Torres Preto (IN+/LARSYS, Universidade de Lisboa), Ana Dias Daniel (GOVCOPP, Universidade de Aveiro) and Aurora A.C. Teixeira (CEF.UP, Universidade do Porto).
The book will focus on four key themes: Conceptualizing the entrepreneurial dimension of Universities and other Higher Education Institutions; Outputs and impact of the entrepreneurial University at the regional level; Empirical evidence of the entrepreneurial University and regional development/ competitiveness in developed and developing economies; Regional policy implications of the entrepreneurial University.
For those interested, the chapter proposal submission deadline is January 10 and should have 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of the proposed chapter. There are no submission or acceptance fees and all manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process.
