APREN Award 19/08/2019
Applications are open for the APREN 2019 Award, an initiative that aims to disseminate academic dissertations made in Portuguese higher education institutions related to electricity from renewable sources.
This year's edition is open for the master theses completed, approved and classified between August 1, 2017 and July 31, 2019, whose theme should be related to “electricity from renewable sources”, namely in the areas of its production, distribution, management and regulation, covering scientific, technological, economic and other aspects that promote their sustainable development.
Interested parties have until September 20th to submit their application. Results will be announced during the Portugal Renewable Summit 2019 (Annual Conference of the Association, which will take place on November 28 at the Oriente Foundation, in Lisbon), an event where all the works accepted for the contest will be exhibited.
There will be a prize of €1500 for the winning master's thesis and €750 for the second best dissertation. The two winners, as well as candidates who receive honorable mention, will also be entitled to attend the paid-in events that APREN organizes during the year 2020.
