On December 5th takes place the Streets4All final conference, a one-day seminar sharing the main results, methods and insights of the project, focused on dynamic and equitable allocation of urban street space.
The event will be held at Caleidoscópio will highlight proposed methodologies for identifying suitable locations, designing adaptable street layouts, and implementing responsive solutions that adjust to different mobility and accessibility needs throughout the day.
STREETS4ALL is a project funded by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia that proposes an Equitable and Dynamic Allocation of Urban Street Space to accommodate the future multi-modal and multi-functional street’ uses. The objective of the project includes proposing methodologies for site selection of equitable allocation of space, street design and techonological solutions that can adapt its function and use equitably for all modes over time, according to some periodicity (e.g., an hour, few hours, or days) and at pre-timed periods (e.g., peak or off-peak, day or night time).
