Online public session: Municipal GHG Emissions Inventories 13/12/2024
The Cities for Climate Network will host an online session on 13 December 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, to present this collaborative initiative and the tool MEM+ – Municipal Emissions Monitoring, to support climate action by municipalities in mainland Portugal.
This event is aimed at municipalities, inter-municipal communities, energy agencies, experts and other entities involved in pursuing the goal of climate neutrality at a local level, and highlights the central role of cities in the fight against climate change, both within the European Mission “100 climate-neutral and smart cities by 2030, for and by citizens” and the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy.
The event will be held exclusively online and offers an opportunity for municipalities, citizens, and other entities to get up to date on efforts to monitor greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and how these initiatives can contribute to achieving climate neutrality.
