In the book "Que Pirâmide Humana? O conhecimento e as opções de política pública em Portugal 2000-2030", Manuel Heitor reflects on the impact on society of political decisions in Portugal between 2000 and 2021, including the consequences of European integration. The book ends with a forecast of its evolution until 2030.
In addition to a debate on the book, this session will include a screening of Jean Rouch's 1961 film “The Human Pyramid”, which inspired the book's title.
