Urban environments face several challenges, such as growing population, high pollution levels, an increase in unsustainable mobility options, among others. Analysing big city data and employing urban analytics techniques can provide valuable insights and identify the optimal solutions to contemporary challenges. However, to take advantage of the full potential of these data it is essential to apply relevant tools and be able to make sense of the results.
Our summer school course offers a comprehensive overview of the approaches and tools for the analysis of urban settings, following the entire analytics process from data collection to visual presentation of the results.
