Miguel Santos was born in Lisbon and is a Mechanical Engineering MSc student at IST (Energy branch).
During his graduation, he was a member of the Formula Student project, as Cooling & Thermal Management responsible, for the development of the FST10e car. He also participated in the Erasmus+ program for half a year in Politecnico di Milano.
Currently, Miguel is writing his MSc thesis at IN+, studying the viability of using heat from Biogas+H2 flames and Thermoelectric technology to produce electricity, for which an extensive study on Flame-wall Interaction is required.
His main hobby is cycling and during the three years of his graduation he competed as sub-23 in several important national competitions.
