Maria Inês Lopes is Chemical and Biochemical Engineer from FCT-UNL. After a period working in the industry, she is currently a student of the Doctoral Program in Mechanical Engineering at IST in collaboration with Hovione. The central focus of her work is to develop a mechanistic based platform for high dosage dry powder inhalation formulations aimed at accelerating formulation development and selection process.
