José Manuel das Neves Rodrigues
José is an Engineer, a researcher, a storyteller, a design enthusiast and a sailor.
José was born in Porto, in 1987, and there he lived until he left to Lisboa to start his MSc in Aerospace Enginnering, at Lisbon Técnico. Graduated with 16 values in 2011, he immediately started a research scholarship at the Thermofluids, Combustion and Energy Systems, at IN+. There, he is developing a research project in micro combustion systems with Professor Edgar Fernandes. In the past, he was also a researcher at the Turbo & Jet Engines Laboratory at Technion, Israel, with Professor Y. Levy, where he undertook the work for his master thesis dissertation.
Today, parallel to his research activities, he is also engaged in several projects. He is a co-founder of Lost in Reality, a mobile storytelling platform. Professionally, his ambition is to become a successful stakeholder in the energy systems field in Portugal and abroad.
