CARAVELA - Development and demonstration of building blocks for microlaunchers 13/07/2020

Last 9th of July, took place the kick-off of the project CARAVELA - Development and demonstration of building blocks for microlaunchers. This project is supported by ANI (Portugal 2020), whose consortium (4 companies and 6 national R&D centers) and is led by Tekever SPACE. Instituto Superior Técnico, through IN+, is one of the co-promotors, under coordination of Prof. Edgar Fernandes. 

The CARAVELA project will develop and demonstrate technology for the main constituents that form the micro launchers, small launchers dedicated to small satellites, and will culminate with the launch of sounding rocket and the development of a kick Stage integrating all the elements developed in the project.
