Directions
The IST Campus is at the centre of Lisbon with privileged access to the main interest spots of the city and benefiting from all the public transportation system.
Both recommended hotels are within walking distance of the IST (less than 5 minutes).
Conference site: The conference will take place at the Centro de Congressos (Congress Centre) in Room 02.1 of the Pavilhão de Civil (Civil Engineering Pavillion) (click here to see the map).
From Portela Airport: at the airport you may take a Taxi that will take around 10 minutes to the hotels. For the trip you will spend around €15, depending on the luggage you carry.
Subway: During your stay you may use the Subway (Metro) to reach the main places downtown. The nearest Metro stations are Alameda (recommended) and Saldanha (for details see http://www.metrolisboa.pt/index_uk.htm).
Bus: You may also use several Bus lines (for details see http://www.carris.pt/en/index.php).
