Tatiana Bruce da Silva is a PhD Candidate in Sustainable Energy Systems at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa. Tatiana has a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Economics from the Federal University of Pernambuco, in Brazil. She is an experienced researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the public and private sectors. Tatiana has published academic and white papers about the geopolitics of renewable energy, distributed energy resources, electric vehicles, new mobility technologies and services, energy transition, and energy integration. Her PhD thesis uses a hybrid energy systems-general equilibrium economic model to assess the impacts of mitigation policies such as carbon pricing, alternative fuels, shared mobility and public transportation on reducing carbon emissions in the transportation sector.
