Marta Gonçalves concluded her Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, in 2018. At IN+, Center for Innovation, Technology & Policy Research, she is a researcher for the laboratory of Technology Management and Policy.
In her Master thesis, Marta focused on metal additive manufacturing (MAM) from an economical perspective, by developing a cost model suited for this technology and applying it to an aerospace part.
Marta now intends to continue to develop her interest and knowledge namely in the area of additive manufacturing, as a part of Industry 4.0, as well as in the sector of aeronautics and space.
