Ivan Andric

PhD Candidate

After obtaining the B. Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in mechanical engineering from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade (Belgrade, Serbia), Ivan joined the international Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate (EMJD) SELECT+ program Environomical Pathways for Sustainable Energy Services in 2013, with IMT Atlantique (Nantes, France) as a home university, Instituto Superior Técnico (Lisbon, Portugal) as a host university, and Veolia Research and Innovation as an industrial partner. His research focuses on the direct and indirect impacts of climate change on district heating networks and the sustainability of urban environment. Moreover, he is also attending the European Institute of Technology Inno Energy PhD school in business and innovation management. Ivan’s research efforts resulted in 6 publications in journals and four publications at international conferences over the course of the thesis. Ivan will graduate from both PhD schools in September 2017.
