Areas of expertise: production and storage of hydrogen; storage and conversion technologies for thermal and electrical energy; fuel cells; redox battery flow; solar panels; pyrolysis of biomass for liquid fuels; life cycle analysis; energy supply infrastructure for vehicles; development of the first Portuguese redox flow prototype (patent); renewable boat Hidrocat (fuel cells, PV, M hydrides); phase change materials for storing heat in buildings; Intelligent windows to control radiation; Energy audits in buildings.
