New doctoral graduates 14/01/2020


José das Neves Rodrigues e João Miguel Pires are the most recent doctoral graduates at IN+. Both PhD candidates, under the doctoral program Engineering Design and Advanced Manufacturing - Leaders for Technical Industries, were approved with distinction by unanimity. José Rodrigues developed his research on the subject "Catalytically Stabilized Combustion of Methane over Cobalt-based Films Fabricated by Electrodeposition", while João Pires' thesys was about the "Implications of New Burner Concepts and Legislation on Reducing the Environmental Impact of Domestic Water Heating Systems in the European Union". Both researches were made under supervision of Prof. Edgar Fernandes, professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department and Director of the Laboratory of Thermofluids, Combustion and Energy Systems at IN+.
