Manuel Heitor awarded the IPB Medal of Honor 31/01/2023

On January 30, Manuel Heitor was awarded the IPB Medal of Honor in recognition of his exceptional contribution to the progress of science and higher education in Portugal. The handover took place in the context of the 40 years of existence of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB).

5000 km away, in New York, Manuel Heitor virtually participated in the ceremony, with João Sobrinho Teixeira, member of the Parliament and former Secretary of State for Science, Technology and Higher Education, physically receiving the medal in his name.
