The 6th International Conference of Bionic Engineering (ICBE2019) organized by the ISBE took place at Jilin University in Changchun on September 23-26, 2019, aiming to establish a closer relationship between scientists and engineers worldwide in the field of bionic engineering. Dr. Ana Moita attended the conference as a guest speaker, giving a Keynote entitled: “Micro-and-nanometric engineered interfaces for heat transfer enhancement”. Furthermore, she presented a paper written jointly with Prof. António Luís Moreira, Emanuele Teodori, Pedro Pontes, Ricardo Cautela and Yan Liu, entitled "Development and test of biphilic surfaces with biomimetic patterns for heat transfer enhancement".
