Innovation Management in a Global Environment

Programme


The Conference is aimed to review, discuss and integrate new developments in socio-economic research on innovation in a globalized society, reflecting current transnational priorities on innovation and competence building. The ultimate goal is to help capturing new socio-economic trends and to find policy strategies promoting learning societies through joint efforts and integrated actions on innovation, competence building and the sustainable development.

The Conference will be based on invited lectures in the various topics included in the programme in order to review and interrelate recent understanding and research results in three main areas of socio-economic research: i) innovation, productivity and sustainability; ii) regional innovation strategies; iii) technology change and innovation dynamics; iv) capacity building, governance and connectivity; and v) infrastructures, regulations and policy. The Conference is designed to promote a cross-disciplinary debate based on socio-economic research.
