Francisco Vilhena da Cunha
Francisco Vilhena da Cunha is Programme Manager at EEA, a public-private company in which he coordinates industrial consortia for aeronautical engineering projects. He is also a researcher on risk governance and public policies for industrialisation at IN+, where he pursues a PhD in Engineering and Public Policy.
Francisco graduated from IST Lisbon as an Aerospace Engineer and his previous duties included the one of executive director of the International Risk Governance Council (IRGC) Portugal; advisor to the Portuguese Secretary of State for Science, Technology and Higher Education; consultant in business intelligence and business development for the aerospace market; offsets advisor to the UK-based International Defence Programme of the NGO Transparency International; Head of intelligence at INTELI, a public-private non-profit think-tank; and Portuguese representative at several FP7 groups related to Aeronautics, Security and Space, namely the ACARE Technology Platform, the JTI Clean Sky NSRG and Programme Committees.
