Miguel Amador
Miguel Amador is currently a PhD student at the MIT Portugal program in Bioengineering, at IST Lisbon. He is developing research on risk governance with a direct application to science, technology and public policy in the field of regulation in regenerative medicine regarding the fostering of innovation in bio-industries.
He holds a Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering from IST Lisbon, Technical University of Lisbon, Portugal.
Miguel worked previously in the Technology Transfer Office of Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon, supporting the valuation of university IP. He is a technology entrepreneurship enthusiast, being also a social entrepreneur, developing projects in various non-profit organizations in the field of education and bioengineering like the Portuguese IEEE Chapter of Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society.
