Vânia Cristina Henriques Silvério
Vânia Silvério has a Technological Chemist degree since 2003. She is currently at Center for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research IN+, Instituto Superior Técnico, where she is completing her doctoral program on Mechanical Engineering entitled “Micro-cooling technologies for high density power systems”. Her research focuses on single and two-phase microchannel heat transfer systems to remove high heat densities generated by small-scale applications such as micro-systems, sensors and actuators and micro-electronic components. Along with research, she also collaborates since 2006 in the organization of the International Symposia on Applications of Laser Techniques to Fluid Mechanics, held biennially in Lisbon. Vânia has complementary interests both in cultural and recreational associativism as well as artistic related activities.
