The Center for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research provides a range of unique opportunities for Research Grants in its areas of expertise, for periods between 6 months and 3 years, as follows:

1. Initiation to Research - Undergraduate students
Period: from 6 months to 1 year
major areas of Research:
- Experimental Combustion - Flame propagation
- Pollutants emissions and abatment strategies
- Waste treatment and combustion
- History of Technology and Engineering - Application to Portugal
2. Master of Science - Graduate Students accepted to be enrolled in the IST´s Master Programmes in "Engineering Policy and Management of Technology" and in “Engineering Design”.
Period : 15 months
