The 4th International Conference will be held August, 2000 at the facilities of the main campus of PUC/PR - the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (Catholic University of Paraná). PUC/PR is one of the four universities in Curitiba, founded in 1959. It counts today 46 graduation courses and 51 post-graduation courses, 6 Master Degree Programs, and 1 Ph. D. program. Overall, 16.000 students are enrolled in different programs at its three campi. PUC/PR is internationally oriented and has collaboration links with institutions in many countries. It is also well connected to the local community and cooperates in many aspects with the business sector.
